Champagne country: Trams in the form of a champagne flute!
The modern tramway system of Reims was opened in 2011. It considts of two lines, A and B, on a network of 11.2 kilometres. A particularly interesting feature is the inner-city sections without overhead wires (use of undergroup supply: "APS" (Alimentation par le sol", "ground-level power supply"). Reims' original tramways had operated from 1881 to 1939. The French Wikipedia site (link) provides detailed information about the entire project to bring the tram back to Reims...
