An awesome narrow gauge railway in the Snowdon National Park, the oldest still existing railway company in the world. Since 1994, the former Welsh Highland Railway - closed in 1937 - was step-by-step rebuilt until 2011, providing nowadays direct trains between Caernarfon and Porthmadog, the terminus of the Ffestiniog railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Eine faszinierende Schmalspurbahn im walisischen Nationalpark Snowdonia und die älteste weltweit noch existierende Eisenbahngesellschaft.
Short video of mine with a double departure at Porthmadog, one train to Blaenau and the other one - hauled by a Garratt loco - to Caernarfon.
